A few days ago, I shot this guy, a 2nd hand books seller in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, and amazingly, he knew my camera,
“un Blad!” as he said, and he knows a lot about photography, he had a Leica M4 “à l’époque”…
Today, I returned to give him a print of the photo, he was SO happy that he gave me a book.
We talked and this crazy guy made a lot of things in his life ; he wrote a book, he showed me a literature award he won for that,
and he explained to me how to find on internet a video report about him on FRANCE 3 website (a french public TV Channel,
in the “19/20”), and a radio show in which he was invited to, on RTL ; he even got an exhibition where his paintings was shown
at the 9th arrondissement of Paris’ council…
I’m sure there are a lot of other stuffs he did in his crazy life we can’t imagine…
